Oh!
New words, not stable version but Official version. Does this mean that the latest Official version may not be stable? ![]() If so, then maybe a new beta may be in order.

I've seen various previous non-beta releases listed as official, others as stable. All the same. Slysoft quality. ================================================== =============================== I did a quick check of the AnyDVD forum regarding the non-beta labeling of the AnyDVD 7 series releases: one was listed as "release candidate", another was listed as "Final" (which could be wrongly construed to mean no more updates to AnyDVD, ever), the rest are "Official". Not one single release listed as "Stable". Too much detail for ya? Hmmmmm? ![]() FYI, I listed it as official because the update can be found at the main Slysoft site, not just in the forums as is the case with the betas. Yes.
![]() I think we all mostly agreed that Official was less likely to confuse than Final would. Some people were thinking Final meant the last release - ever. -W |

Like "AnyDVD (HD) 7.0.5.0". No "official", no "stable", no "final"?

I got an installation issue on my win 7 sp1 pro (amd FX8150, 4*4 Gb ram).
Process is frozen when executing anydvdTray.exe -c I try to update from a 7.0.4.0 to this one. I also didn't reboot since windows install the last update. Any other idea other than reboot ?

![]() And no matter what is written some people will complain and not be satisfied. I suspect that fast eddie was making a joke, and I played along.

In my own head I call it a "Street Release" - but Official sounds better for the masses (who likely don't want to think of themselves as "the street people". ![]() And ya - I understood that Fast Eddie (his wife calls him that) and Furry Guy (only his stylist knows for sure) were just joking around in fun. -W Last edited by Clams; 12th July 2012 at 16:20. |
