UPDATE: Same issue occurs on Contagion. I have posted both files and info to BD+ thread.

Today just picked up In Time on BD, and using AnyDVD 7.0.22. Partly through the BD scan / decryption process I get "Error Processing Blu-Ray Disc. Please check the AnyDVD status window for details". When I press OK, the scan finishes but the Log file is not complete.

Trick is the status windows looks fine:-

    Summary for drive D: (AnyDVD HD 7.0.2.2, BDPHash.bin 12-03-12)
    MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ240ES 1.00 09082800
    Drive (Hardware) Region: 4

    Current profile: BD-ROM
    Media is a Blu-ray disc.

Total size: 20333600 sectors (39714 MBytes)
    Video Blu-ray label: IN_TIME
    Media is AACS protected!
    Media is BD+ protected!
    AACS MKB version 23
    Using online database!
    Removed AACS copy protection!
    Removed BD+ copy protection!
Note: automatic detection of region code not possible with this disc.
Blu-ray disc Region set to B!
Possible Blu-ray Java region lock removed!
    Blu-ray Java signatures fixed!
    BD-Live deactivated!
    Java BD+ runtime removed!
    Removed UOPs!

Problem is it appears BD+ is not removed, as the AnyDVD.log file is not even complete. Even AnyDVD states "Using online database". The log file, despite not being complete kicks in at just over 4MB.

    Error:- (from Log file)
    7.04s: HD: GetVolumeKey 1
    66.94s: Failed to remove BD+, Error 668!

I have attached the incomplete zip file for James and Co to check.

If you're having trouble with that disc (and the other one you've reported), then you either don't have the Online Protection Database active or AnyDVD has no access to the internet.
Both discs are known to work.

...reading through this again... everything is ok.
You can't create "successful" logs with these discs. That's currently by design and no problem at all.
A normal scan works fine and the "no problem" report in the status window is correct.

Seeking clarification, so even though I get ""Error Processing Blu-Ray Disc. Please check the AnyDVD status window for details"" and the AnyDVD.log file is not complete and both have the same error code, BD+ was removed? If thats the case why do I get the error message even with full web access and online database being used?

Where do you see an "Error processig Blu-ray disc" with this status?

    Code:
Total size: 20333600 sectors (39714 MBytes)
    Video Blu-ray label: IN_TIME
    Media is AACS protected!
    Media is BD+ protected!

    Hi James

About half way through the scan I get a dialogue box that appears onscreen and says "Error Processing Blu-Ray Disc. Please check the AnyDVD status window for details" and then I press OK to check AnyDVD and the scann continues till finished. This occurs on Contagion and In Time with AnyDVD 7.0.22

You are getting this message with a "normal scan"???
You WILL DEFINITELY AND EXPECTEDLY get that message, when creating a log file.
But - and your status window does seem to prove it - it should not happen, when scanning normally. At least not, if you have AnyDVD's Online Protection Database active and a functioning, unblocked internet access for AnyDVD.
Or, alternatively, AnyDVD 7.0.2.3 for that matter...

    Hi Peer

Yes the same normal scan I use for all my BD movies, nothing has been changed at all - ever. My internet access has no problems and is not blocked either because AnyDVD status indicates its using the online database as normal. I"ll give 7.0.2.3 a spin and post a screenshot if that dialogue box appears again.

    IN TIME error 668

I hope I am not confusing the issue.
My system is NOT connected to the internet.

    W/ v 7.0.2.6 I get error 668.

On a educated whim, I reverted to v 6.9.1.12 and .iso was created.

    Attached are both logs.

    Regards

Why did you revert and are you saying you created an unprotected and working ISO with the older version??

Since your computer is not connected to the internet, could you try to disable the online protection database in AnyDVD's settings and then see if 7.0.2.6 handles the disc?

Peer - thanks for your reply.

Originally I tried v7026 and got err 668. I did a forum search and it was suggested that v 6919 would work w/ this BR.

I did not have 6919, but I did have 69112, which is why I reverted to that v.

Yes I was able to make an unprotected .iso w/ 69112 which plays fine.

This morning, I re-installed v 7026 and un-checked the 'online protection database' and I still get the failure to scan disc and the 'Failed to remove BD+,error 668' in the STATUS tab.

    Kind Regards
