This disc seems to play fine, but I can not rip it. Log files attached.
There are a lot of read errors. Are all the AnyDVD settings set to default? If so, looks like a bad disc.
There are lots more.
All the settings are default. I suspected a possible bad disc since anydvd took very long to scan, but was thrown by the ability to watch various parts without a problem.
Thanks for your time.
Don't think it's a bad disc since I'm having the same issue.
AnyDVD HD 126.96.36.199 with Breaking Bad S3D1 Blu-ray.
Disc plays okay and S3D2 rips fine. Will post error files if it's helpful to anyone, just wanted to corroborate this finding.
No, reading a disc for ripping and playing a disc for viewing are two different things.
Please read this link I've posted that'll show you the difference between the two.
Also, please check out SamuriHL's Bad Disc Guide for ways to check to see if you have a bad disc or not.
The only thing you had in common is the title. The OP had a DVD, you have a Blu-ray. Always post an AnyDVD log if you are having trouble, but if yours is a Blu-ray, you need to start your own thread in the AnyDVD HD section.
