I´m not able to rip shooter on my hard drive.
    I was reading all faqs.
Since the BD version only has MPG2 i would convert my HD version to BD format.
Evo1 took 6 hours than aborted with I/O error.
The original is running fine on my Tosh E1 player.
Reading speed was only at 01 MB sec.

if you read all the FAQs then you'll have known to post a log.

    your best bet is to:

    1. rip to HDD (if you can spare the space)
    2. demux with EAC3TO
    3. convert your eAC3 audio to AC3
    4. remux with TSMUXER

I was reading all faqs like i said in my first post.
3 hours only in the faq section yesterday and the day before.
Bad disk, no way it plays fine on PC and standalone.
I never had any problems in ripping a BD exept the new BD+.

If you'd actually read through all the FAQ's then you'd
    A - have posted a log file
B - Known that just because it plays fine doesn't mean the disc isn't faulty

    OMG

The reason i´m posting as a junior member doesn´t mean i´m a newbee.
What should the logfile show other than
    read error at xxx
    i/o error at xxx

Would you then have an answer?

On the other hand you may be right.
I dont think about an error in anydvd HD.
Possibly other users had seen the same.

The log file shows quite a bit of information that can be useful in trouble shooting a problem. Your resistance in posting one is not going to get you much help, I'm afraid. You have not tried any of the suggestions in my bad disc guide because you insist that just because it plays it can't be a bad disc. Playing a disc is NOT the same as ripping a disc. The users are trying to assist you in this problem, not insult you for "being a newbee". Please follow their suggestions.

Either provide the basic information requested or prepare not to receive help and have your thread ignored.

Your post really doesn't make sense. Notwithstanding that you do have some issue ripping to your hard drive, why all the extra software. AnyDVD HD is able to rip HD DVD to hard drives just fine and if you need to play it, create an ISO and you're done. Of course, you'll need to install the HD DVD hack if using PDVD8, or you can just use PowerDVD7 or the Arcsoft Player.

Now it is another thing if you are wanting to make a movie only backup, then yes, other software is necessary. However, considering the problems you're having, i would start with the simple stuff first and just rip a full copy to hard drive and make an ISO to play. That would rule out AnyDVD as an issue which means the problem is elsewhere in your system.

And that is one of the nice things about this forum. They will still try to help you even if it isn't an AnyDVD problem if you answer there questions. That is unless you aren't able to without giving something away (a hacked AnyDVD copy perhaps???:disagree:)
